Now that I have deleted my original about me page trying to learn WordPress I have to now try to tell you about me again and I truly don’t remember what I wrote but it was awesome. Anyway, I have always loved to cook once I learned the basic. Being raised with 8 siblings and the third oldest I had 6 younger than me, I had to learn quickly how to cook or attempt to cook. My mom is from the south and she always cooked her southern meals and she is a great cook as well as my Auntie Carriemae, I always was in the kitchen when mom was cooking. I come from a family of 9 and by American standard, it is a large family, today how would you feed such a large family. I been married for 20 years OMG! to Clifford Jackman, (aka) Jack, I have a daughter Kaneen, (aka) Nene or Nyne and a beautiful Yorkie or shall I say Yorkshire Terrier whom I adore and her name is Buttercup (aka), Butter, Stinkbutt, Chubaka and Gamma meaning Grandma yes 4 nicknames for her now with that out the way. I have always loved to cook and as I have discovered it is my passion, I know everywhere you look there is food, food, and more food and now I want to share my version of cooking Deborah’s Way. I am by no means this perfect cook I have learned from trials and errors, my mom has set the tone for southern cooking and I have learned. I am open to discussion about foods I make and foods you would like me to make, some recipes are great the way they are and some are even better with change. I am on this new journey and this is new to me not chatting but blogging so bear with me and I hope to have my website up with lots of recipes that I hope you will enjoy as much as I do.
